PT SUPPORT ᐧ PART-TIME

Quinn Orthopedic Physical Therapy (QOPT) is looking for a Part Time Physical Therapy Aide with consistent, weekly availability (to include rotating Saturday shifts) for a fast-paced clinical, patient-facing environment.
This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience and hours to apply to graduate programs—especially those with an interest in Orthopedic patient base. QOPT supports internship hours for collegiate credit.
Responsibilities:- Support our physical therapist team
- Provide routine modalities
- Prepare treatment areas for patients: set up, take down, and sanitize equipment and maintain clean linens/laundry
- Build rapport with a diverse patient population
- Assist with training of new hire PT aides
- Assist Front Office staff with admin work
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment
- Successful completion of collegiate level coursework in anatomy and/or kinesiology (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in or actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a pre-health profession (Preferred)
- Authorized to work in the United States (Required)
- CPR-AED and BLS Certified.
- Proficient in Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
- COVID Vaccinated (per federal mandate)
- Willing to follow mask mandate as applicable
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to stand, bend, push, and pull up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
- Adequate visual and auditory acuity to ensure patient and operational safety.
- $18 - $18.50 per hour
- This is a non-benefited position
- CA illness pay
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to a Simple IRA plan should they wish to participate.

We are seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapy Administrative Aide who is passionate about contributing to the efficiency of our practice and enhancing the patient experience. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience and hours to apply to graduate programs—especially those interested in gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, particularly those aspiring to pursue graduate programs or careers in healthcare administration. QOPT supports internship hours for collegiate credit.
Responsibilities:- Professional Communication: engage with patients and teams respectfully and with a patient-centered approach.
- Scheduling Support: Manage patient appointments, ensuring smooth booking and rescheduling.
- Patient Inquiries: Respond to patient calls and inquiries with accuracy and empathy.
- Record Management: Maintain and update patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Document Preparation: Process medical documents, referrals, and intake forms with attention to detail.
- Coordination: Work with healthcare professionals to manage referrals, treatment, and record updates.
- Onboarding: Assist for new hires.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.
- Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
