Cancellation Policy

We understand that life sometimes gets busy, and appointments need to be rescheduled. To ensure everyone has access to timely care, we kindly ask for your cooperation with our appointment guidelines as follows:

CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY

Your appointment with us is a professional engagement with a licensed medical provider. In fairness to our providers, our practice and to our other patients, we must insist that you take responsibility to keep and attend your appointments as scheduled. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, we ask that you give us the courtesy of 24 hours notice of cancellation so that we may offer the appointment to other patients. Appointments can be adjusted via email reception@quinnpt.com or phone. Please be sure to leave a message, should you not connect with a team member directly. Failure to give 24 hours advance notice of a missed appointment will be considered a no-show. We will waive the first no-show as a courtesy, but subsequent no-shows will each result in a $50 charge to your account balance.

LIEN PATIENTS

As with all our patients, we kindly ask that appointments are canceled or rescheduled 24 hours prior to your appointment time. If you are unable to attend your appointment due to an unforeseen illness, we must be notified within 4 hours of your appointment time. Any appointment adjustments that do not comply with the above outlined policies will be considered a NO SHOW, regardless of rescheduling. For our Lien patients, A NO SHOW will result in a non-negotiable $100 fee per visit missed as consistent with the signed lien agreement. Please be reminded that if you have a scheduled initial evaluation and do not attend, your account will be charged for the missed appointment.

We will notify your attorney upon repeat failures to attend scheduled appointments. On the third no-show, we will cancel future appointments and communicate to your attorney that you have been discharged from our care.

Important Note:

Patients often mention pain as the reason for rescheduling or canceling an appointment. While it may feel natural to skip therapy when you’re in pain, remember that therapy can help alleviate it. Keep your appointment, come in, and let us assist you in feeling better! Be sure to communicate any discomfort to your therapist, and they will adjust your treatment to accommodate your needs.

Disclaimer:

We reserve the right to discontinue treatment due to excessive tardiness, rescheduling, or missed appointments. If you need to adjust a scheduled appointment, please contact us at 408-252-6076 or email reception@quinnpt.com. If you need to contact us outside of business hours or are unable to reach a team member directly, please leave a voicemail. We regularly check messages for communications about visits. Be sure to let us know if you’d like a call back to assist with future visits or rescheduling.
